18.0 TZM Administrative Details

OVERVIEW

In addition to the scope of work that guide the performance of all TZMs, TZM contractors are required to fulfill certain steps, as outlined in the "Contract for Services Between Washington Traffic Safety Commission and Contractor" for eligibility to work as a contractor.

TZM CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS

TZMs that contract directly with WTSC must maintain the following:

  • Business license and Unified Business Identifier Number

  • Statewide Vendor Number

  • Business liability insurance with minimum coverage of $500,000 per incident.

  • Office space: The TZM contractor is responsible to provide an appropriate work site to fulfill the scope of work. However, WTSC anticipates securing a work site within a city, county, or state governmental organization located within the TZM's region. In the event a work site at a local agency cannot be located, the TZM will work primarily from the TZM’s designated work site. It is required that at least 75% of the TZM’s performance will occur within the TZM's region.
